The Mud That Keeps You Up At Bedtime, a poem

Walking through mud
While wearing all-white
You can do it in the daytime
You could do it at night

The time doesn’t change the results
The results tell you to change
And the changes you consider
Make you rethink how you’ll behave

*Trying isn’t doing

Attempts meekly whisper
While actions bravely yell
“The best laid plains of Mice and Men”…
Don’t let that cause you to rebel

Mud could be the bad thoughts
Mud could be the habits
Mud could be your lovers
Mud could be your faults
Mud could be your memories
Mud could be your guilt
